“Whatever you think you can do or believe you can do, begin it. Action has magic, grace and power in it.”
(Johann Wolfgang von Goethe)
When I do my school visits I always talk about the Gro-clock because the idea of it popped into my head whilst I was daydreaming in the shower in about 2006. I always tell the children that daydreaming is a great way to receive ideas from the universe!
I remember being so excited about the idea, which was very detailed in terms of how the clock worked, how it looked and the storybook to go with it, that I remember writing it down in my notepad while my hands were still wet from the shower! It made some of the text go blurry, but the main point was that I took immediate steps to move the project forward.
Just as the opening quote from Von Goethe says, ‘action has magic, grace and power in it.’
One year later it went on sale and since then I have calculated that the Gro Company sold over 2 million Gro-clocks.
Checking on Amazon today it has just under 10,000 Five star reviews. And in fact in every class I go to at school and this is over 55 schools and 14,000 children, about a third of the class puts their hand up to say they have a Gro-clock at home. It’s amazing!
And all because I had a will to manifest this clock and see it help my family and many others around the country. (Plus a great team of people at the Gro Company).
So the thought for the day is … take action to make your dreams become a reality.
Scottish mountain climber W H Murray put it like this:
“Until one is committed, there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back. Concerning all acts of initiative (and creation), there is one elementary truth, the ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans: that the moment one definitely commits oneself, then Providence moves too. All sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred. A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one's favor all manner of unforeseen incidents and meetings and material assistance, which no man could have dreamed would have come his way. Whatever you can do, or dream you can do, begin it. Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it. Begin it now.”
W.H. Murray
Thank you Mr Murray and Mr von Goethe for your wise words.
